The Ultri team is working closely with the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign (UK) - our challenge is supporting something close to the team’s heart.

Among research projects into OPMD, the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign works tirelessly to make a difference to all those with any form of muscle disease. It is the only national charity focusing on all muscle disease =H5-D8. They have pioneered the search for treatments and cures for 50 years, and are dedicated to improving the lives of all people – about 60,000 in the UK and 3 million worldwide – affected by muscle disease or a related condition.

The research they fund and their results are shared globally within the scientific community meaning it can benefit anyone living with a neuromuscular condition around the world.

There are currently no cures or treatments.

By supporting this incredible challenge you will help make a difference to all those affected by muscle disease, and raise much-needed funds for the charity to continue funding its pioneering research and free care and support services.
